In the Kyiv region, a serviceman is suspected of murdering a woman and a fellow soldier, as well as wounding another soldier, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv Region Police.

According to law enforcement, the tragedy occurred on the evening of June 2 in the Fastiv district. The police received a report from a serviceman stating that while on duty, one of his colleagues shot at his fellow soldiers.
Police officers from the capital region immediately arrived at the scene.
The bodies of a soldier and a woman were found inside the premises. Another man with gunshot wounds was hospitalized at a medical facility.
It was established that the suspect, while on duty and in a state of alcohol intoxication, fired two shots from an assault rifle at a 53-year-old victim due to jealousy. Subsequently, he went to an adjacent room and shot a woman and another serviceman, and then fled
The entire personnel of the district department and the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region were deployed to search for the suspect. The man was located and detained.

Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Bila Tserkva Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Defense Sphere of the Central Region, served the serviceman a notice of suspicion for attempted murder and the intentional murder of two persons (Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 1 of Art. 115, and Clause 1 of Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
