A sculpture by a famous French artist has appeared at the Main Post Office in Kyiv. This is the first of a series of five works that he planned to create in the capital for Independence Day, UNN reports with reference to Media Center Ukraine.

Details

A new work by French street artist James Kolomina on Independence Square depicts a child emerging from the wall of the Main Post Office to draw a trident.

This child symbolizes the envoy who came to support Ukraine at the place of honoring Ukrainian heroes

- the statement said.

In total, Kolomina planned to install five red sculptures in Kyiv on Independence Day to highlight the reality of the war and express support for the Ukrainian people.

In addition to the installations in Ukraine, James Kolomina has created a mobile work depicting Putin on a toy tank. This sculpture, which travels from city to city and country to country, symbolizes the devastating impact of this conflict on a global scale.

Recall

The works of the British artist Banksy, which were painted in Kyiv, Irpin and Borodianka, will be digitized and placed in a virtual gallery.  This is to preserve the works and make them accessible to a wider audience.
