It is noted that on June 28, Russian troops carried out an air strike using four guided aerial bombs on the outskirts of the village of Kyrylivka, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. During the evacuation of the civilian population, employees of the police department No. 1 of the Chuhuiv District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region, who were in a service vehicle, came under enemy fire.
Community police officer of the sector for interaction with communities of police department No. 1 of the Chuhuiv District Police Department, Roman Komarov, died at the scene. The injuries he sustained were incompatible with life. Also, during the air strike, an inspector of the juvenile prevention sector was seriously injured. It is indicated that 25-year-old Roman Komarov remained faithful to the Oath to the end, diligently performed his official duty and, together with his colleagues, saved civilians, risking his own life.
