A Mi-24 helicopter of the Abkhazian Ministry of Defense crashed in russian-occupied Abkhazia. This was reported by UNN with reference to Echo of the Caucasus.
Details
The incident occurred in the village of Volodymyrivka, Gulripi district. All three crew members are alive, said Adgur Gumba, commander of the self-proclaimed Abkhazia's air force. They were taken to the hospital, their lives are not in danger.
The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Lev Kvitsinia, arrived at the scene. Experts are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
