In Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region, police detained a suspect in a serious crime that occurred at a summer cottage.
Law enforcement officers received a call about an incident in a garden society in the village of Novopokrovka. At the scene, they found the body of a 61-year-old Kharkiv resident with a stab wound.
The investigation revealed that the owner of the dacha was involved in the crime, having invited his neighbor to visit. During the feast, a dispute arose, after which the owner stabbed his friend in the face.
The police detained the suspect and seized the crime weapon.

The man was declared a suspect in committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder). Under this provision of the law, he faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
