In Kharkiv, a domestic gas explosion occurred in an apartment of a residential high-rise building, injuring a man, the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv region reported on Telegram, UNN reports.

Rescuers received a report of a household gas explosion in an apartment on the 5th floor of a five-story residential building in Kharkiv on December 26 .
"The explosion smashed a window frame, but there was no destruction or fire. However, a man born in 1962 was injured," the State Emergency Service said.
He was reportedly hospitalized by an emergency medical team with burns to his face and hands.
Fire and rescue units of the State Emergency Service arrived at the scene to inspect the apartment.
