A fire broke out on the territory of the National Center for Nuclear Research in Poland. Two people were injured, the fire did not threaten the MARIA nuclear research reactor, the Polish edition RMF 24 reported, according to UNN.

The fire at the National Center for Nuclear Research in Otwock near Warsaw occurred on Wednesday before lunch.
As an RMF FM correspondent found out, a gas explosion occurred in a laboratory rented by a third-party company.
Two people were injured in the fire.
Firefighters have already brought the fire under control. A total of 40 firefighters took part in the firefighting.
"It is important that there is no radiological risk. The fire occurred at a considerable distance from the MARIA research reactor," the statement said.
