He noted that there is a certain decrease in the number of trucks crossing the border per day.
"Some movement is taking place because the participants of this action said that they would let four trucks cross into Ukraine in an hour," Demchenko said.
He also commented on the situation on the border with Hungary.
"There is a movement of trucks along the border with Hungary. There was information in open sources that the traffic between Slovakia and Hungary was hampered, and the same traffic flow as before is still observed at the border with Ukraine," Demchenko said.
According to him, the actions that are taking place on the border with Poland and Slovakia are adding to the queues on the border with Hungary.
"As of this morning, there are 750 trucks in line in front of the Tisa checkpoint, on the border with Hungary, heading towards Ukraine, but over the past day, more than 700 trucks crossed the Tisa checkpoint in both directions," Demchenko said.
Addendum
On December 1, Slovak truckers began blocking truck traffic at the Vysne Nemecke-Uzhhorod border crossing with Ukraine, allowing limited passage. They joined Polish truck drivers who are demanding that the EU reinstate truck permits that were canceled after Russia's invasion.
