Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 48 drones and 3 X-59/69 missiles. The air defense system shot down 31 drones and one missile, 14 more drones were lost, 3 flew to Belarus, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Friday, UNN writes.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of November 1 (from 18.00 on October 31), the enemy launched three X-59/69 guided missiles from the airspace of the TOT in Kherson region, and attacked with 48 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones from the directions of Orel and Kursk. Enemy tactical aviation conducted guided missile strikes in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.
As of 08:00, 31 enemy UAVs were confirmed downed, 14 drones were lost, and three UAVs flew away in the direction of Belarus. The air defense also managed to shoot down one X-59/69 guided missile, while the rest did not reach their targets due to active opposition
As indicated, air defense was operating in Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Poltava regions.
"According to preliminary results, there were no casualties. However, as a result of the Russian missile and drone attack, several civilian enterprises were damaged by falling debris, and apartment buildings and private houses in Poltava, Cherkasy, Kyiv and Odesa regions were also damaged," the Air Force said.
