An apartment building destroyed by Russian troops in Gostomel, Kyiv region, has been restored. More than 60 of its residents can finally return to their homes. This was reported on his Facebook page by Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, according to UNN .
The house located at 67 Ostromyrska Street has been restored.
In the spring of 2022, the building suffered extensive damage. The building's roof, ceilings, load-bearing walls, partitions, and roof were destroyed. In addition, utilities were completely out of order and all 16 apartments became uninhabitable. The reconstruction work was funded by the Armed Aggression Relief Fund. The reconstruction started in December 2023. The house is currently in operation
According to Kravchenko, the following works were carried out in the house:
- dismantled and installed a new metal frame with fireproofing of metal structures;
- new gas block walls were erected;
- new interfloor floors were installed;
- installed new windows, doors and balconies;
- completely restored the utility networks;
- a new roof with insulation was installed;
- insulated and decorated the facade;
- We arranged common areas;
- all 16 apartments were renovated (interior decoration, flooring, electrical equipment, plumbing in the apartments);
- landscaping of the adjacent territory.
Kravchenko also said that the Kyiv Regional Administration ensures the quality implementation of 48 projects under the FLN program. These include residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, and the construction of new shelters.
