President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has established the Velykopysarivske village military administration in the Okhtyrka district of Sumy region. The relevant presidential decree No. 510/2024 of August 21 was published on the President's website, UNN reports.

"To establish the Velykopysarivska settlement military administration of the Okhtyrka district of Sumy region," the text of the decree reads.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Sumy RSA were instructed to take measures related to the establishment of a military administration.
The Decree comes into force on the day of its publication.

The Velykopysarivska settlement community lies on the border with Russia, opposite the Hraivoronsky district of the Belgorod region of Russia.
