Ukraine is working on restarting the diplomatic service. By the end of the year, replacements will be made in the Corps of ambassadors. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky speaking in the Verkhovna Rada during the presentation of the "sustainability plan", reports UNN.
"Ukraine needs to restart the diplomatic service. This applies to various aspects of the work of our diplomacy – both financial and personal. We are currently working on this together with the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine. By the end of the year, replacements will be made in the Corps of ambassadors of Ukraine. We pay special attention to the G7+states. We will fill all the vacancies of Ukrainian ambassadors," the head of state said.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine needs institutional strengthening of the entire policy towards Ukrainians abroad – towards people from all waves of migration.
Zelensky said that by the end of this year, the candidacy of the head of the Ministry of Association of Ukrainians will be submitted for approval.
