This year, February 14 falls on a Saturday, a day when online marriage registration is usually not conducted. At the same time, the right to create a family does not depend on the calendar, so on Valentine's Day, citizens are given the opportunity to register their marriage online, UNN reports.

As reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, on this day, all digital civil registration offices will operate as usual to ensure online ceremonies. Slots for booking online marriage registration have been opened for this date for more than 300 couples who plan to choose a symbolic day to say "yes" to each other.
You can use the service through the "Diia" application. To do this, you need to log in to the application, select a date and available time, submit an application, and receive confirmation for an online ceremony. After confirmation, the couple will be able to go through the ceremony remotely at the specified time.
Separately, the relevant ministry emphasized the opportunities for military personnel. For them, priority online marriage registration is available in the "Army+" application, which provides for quick booking of the date and time of the ceremony. This approach is intended to simplify access to the service for military personnel, given their service and limited ability to plan personal events in advance.
The Ministry of Justice also noted that they are consistently working to ensure that state registration of civil status acts is accessible, convenient, and continuous for citizens. In particular, this refers to expanding the possibilities of receiving services on weekends and on symbolic dates when the demand for marriage registration traditionally increases.

The work of the state civil registration departments in offline format on February 14 will be carried out as usual, so those who wish can choose both an online ceremony and a personal visit to the civil registration office.
