The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, said that he had discussed with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan the urgent Ukrainian military needs, pointed out the importance of the House of Representatives' early approval of the aid package for Ukraine and thanked US President Joe Biden for the strong messages about the need to support Ukraine in his annual address to Congress, UNN reports.

"Had a phone conversation with National Security Advisor to the President of the United States of America Jake Sullivan. We discussed the situation on the battlefield and the urgent needs of Ukrainian defenders," Yermak wrote on Telegram.
He emphasized the importance of the U.S. House of Representatives approving as soon as possible an aid package for Ukraine, which is much needed by Ukrainian troops
The head of the OP also expressed his gratitude for the recent speech of US President Joseph Biden to the Congress during his annual address, which contained strong messages about the need to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
"I thanked the President of the United States and his administration, both houses of Congress and both parties, and the entire American people for their continued support of Ukraine in its struggle for independence and territorial integrity, as well as freedom and democratic values in Europe," Yermak said.
