Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak answered the question of whether mediation by a third country between Ukraine and Russia is possible. In his opinion, countries that are ready for mediation missions will not declare this publicly.He said this on the air of "We are Ukraine", UNN informs.
According to him, for this to happen, countries must "behave a little differently.

"Any country that is serious about doing some work will not come out publicly and say rather banal things. When they say 'we are for an immediate ceasefire', it means that the country is not ready for a mediation mission. Because in major wars, this is a completely different kind of work. We need to understand who is who in this war - who is the aggressor and who is the victim, what concepts of international law have been violated and how we can return to the operation of international law," he said.

At the same time, Podolyak emphasized that Ukraine is ready to submit its proposals through third countries to Russia, as it was with the grain deal.
