The U.S. House of Representatives has voted in favor of a bill providing $60 billion in defense aid to Ukraine, a decision supported by 310 congressmen, UNN reports with reference to the broadcast of the vote in the House of Representatives.

Details

The US voted in favor of a bill to help Ukraine: it was supported by the majority of congressmen in the House of Representatives, namely 310 congressmen, with 112 voting against it. Next, the bill will be sent to the Senate, after which President Joe Biden will sign it.

As of today, it is known that the draft law provides for $60.8 billion in aid to Ukraine.

At the same time, about $23.2 billion will be spent to replenish US reserves.

The remaining funds will be allocated in the following proportion:

It is planned to spend $13.8 billion on the purchase of advanced weapons systems, defense products and defense services for Ukraine; about $11.3 billion on current US military operations in Europe; and $26 million on aid oversight.
