An abnormal heat wave is expected in Ukraine next week - the air will warm up to 40-41° in the southern, eastern, Poltava, Dnipro and Kirovohrad regions. This was warned by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Details

Forecasters predict that the heatwave will last  from July 11-15.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center explains that this abnormal heat is due to the spread of tropical air from northern Africa to Ukraine.

40-41° is close to the absolute maximum temperature recorded in Ukraine in the entire history of observations. Weather conditions can negatively affect people's health! Be careful, stay indoors if possible and drink plenty of water

- rescuers add.
