The Ministry of Defense has approved a new military training standard on survival, avoidance of capture, resilience in captivity and evacuation (SERE) with three levels of difficulty. UNN reports this with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
The training will consist of three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced, each with its own specific tasks and teaching methods.
The new standards are based on NATO standards and take into account Ukraine's national characteristics and combat experience gained during the repulsion of the Russian Federation's aggression.
The military will undergo specialized training in the following key areas:
-search and rescue activities;
-Survival;
-avoidance of capture;
-Resilience in captivity;
-Preparation for evacuation;
-retraining.
The defenders will acquire practical survival skills in various environments, including Arctic, tropical, mountainous and desert areas. Special attention will be paid to the organization of search and rescue operations for the effective evacuation of isolated personnel.
The training will be conducted by SERE instructors who will undergo regular retraining.
