Air quality in Kyiv and the region has deteriorated due to fires in the ecosystems of Kyiv region and remnants of combustion products after shelling. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predicts that the situation may improve in the afternoon thanks to rains. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, writes UNN.
In Kyiv and the region, atmospheric air quality has deteriorated! According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, this happened as a result of fires in the ecosystems of Kyiv region and remnants of combustion products after yesterday's shelling
However, in the afternoon we expect moderate rains, which will help improve the situation by washing suspended substances out of the atmospheric air.
If you smell smoke or observe smoke haze:
- limit prolonged stays outdoors;
- close windows and ventilate rooms when air quality improves;
- people with respiratory diseases, cardiovascular system diseases, children, and the elderly should be especially attentive to their well-being.
