Ukraine's involvement in the sabotage of "Nord Stream 1" and "Nord Stream 2" has not been established, while information regarding the fact of the gas pipeline sabotage has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, Ukraine is ready to assist in establishing all true circumstances, and a request will be sent to the relevant German authorities to create a joint investigation team, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General on July 9, writes UNN.

"The Office of the Prosecutor General, within the framework of the investigation of criminal proceedings regarding the fact of the Russian Federation waging an aggressive war against Ukraine and the enemy committing other illegal actions against our state, has processed information regarding the sabotage of the "Nord Stream 1" and "Nord Stream 2" gas pipelines," the Office of the Prosecutor General stated.
Within these proceedings, the Office of the Prosecutor General noted, "Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are conducting necessary investigative and other procedural actions, including interrogations of witnesses and obtaining information relevant to establishing the circumstances of the event."
Based on the work already carried out and the information obtained, at present, no facts have been established that would indicate the involvement of the state of Ukraine, its authorized bodies or officials in committing these illegal actions, nor that they issued any orders, instructions, directives or commands on behalf of Ukraine regarding the sabotage of the said gas pipelines. At the same time, the investigation of these circumstances is not yet complete, and the collection of necessary evidence and its examination continues
"The Office of the Prosecutor General has taken note of the notification from the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany regarding the submission of an indictment in the case concerning the sabotage of "Nord Stream 1" and "Nord Stream 2"," the statement said.
The Office of the Prosecutor General noted: bringing charges is a procedural decision by the prosecution and does not constitute a determination of a person's guilt or a final assessment of the circumstances of the criminal proceedings. A person's guilt in committing a crime is confirmed exclusively by a court verdict that has entered into legal force, rendered based on a comprehensive examination of all obtained evidence in compliance with the rights and procedural guarantees of all participants in the criminal proceedings.
The Ukrainian side continues to interact with the relevant German authorities. In particular, within the framework of fulfilling a request from the latter, necessary investigative and procedural actions are being carried out. The relevant German authorities will be immediately informed of the results of their conduct. Ukraine is ready to assist in establishing all true circumstances
Furthermore, it is stated that "information regarding the fact of the sabotage of the "Nord Stream 1" and "Nord Stream 2" gas pipelines has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations." "Within the framework of the said criminal proceedings, a request will be sent to the relevant German authorities to create a joint investigation team for the purpose of prompt exchange of information," the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
