Today in Kyiv, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with the International Monetary Fund mission headed by IMF Mission Chief Gavin Gray, UNN reports.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.
The Prime Minister thanked the Foundation's team for continuing the full-fledged work of the mission in Kyiv, as he said it helps to better understand Ukraine's urgent needs.
"We successfully completed the 5th review of the EFF program at the end of October. We have fulfilled all the structural benchmarks for the 6th review. Based on the results of the current mission, we expect to receive the next tranche of USD 1.1 billion at the end of December," Shmyhal said.
In this context, the parties discussed the further implementation of the reforms envisaged by the Memorandum of Cooperation with the IMF and Ukraine's progress, which the Fund highly appreciates.
The participants of the meeting touched upon macro-financial issues and the needs of our country for external financing. The Prime Minister said that the Government had prepared a draft state budget for 2025 for the second reading: "We understand how we will finance key expenditures. We have reliable support from the IMF, the World Bank, the US and the EU through the Ukraine Facility program, and funding through the ERA instrument.
