Ukraine and Finland have agreed on the joint production of drones and ground robots

Ukrainian and Finnish companies will develop drones, maritime unmanned systems, and ground robotic complexes. Production is planned in Finland.

Companies from the two countries signed documents on the development and production of drones in Finland, the development of maritime unmanned systems, and the establishment of a facility for producing ground-based robotic systems. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on August 23, UNN reports.

The Ukrainian leader, together with President of Finland Alexander Stubb, took part in a roundtable dedicated to Ukrainian-Finnish cooperation in the defense industries.

Today we are taking another step toward deepening our cooperation by combining Ukrainian combat experience with Finnish technologies. Our companies signed documents on developing and manufacturing drones in Finland for the needs of Ukraine and Europe, expanding capabilities in the field of maritime unmanned systems, and establishing a facility for producing ground-based robotic systems 

– Zelenskyy said.

He also thanked Finland's leadership, Finnish businesses, and the country's citizens for their support of Ukraine.
