Aging is a natural process, but its manifestations can vary significantly. In aesthetic medicine, we are increasingly paying attention not to age, but to the type of aging and the severity of certain symptoms. In general, there are 4 types of aging. Deformational-edematous, fine-wrinkled, muscular, and tired – each has its own characteristics

The cosmetologist explains that each type of aging has characteristic signs that are easy to notice. For example, some people face swelling and loss of a clear facial oval, while others are left with a large number of fine wrinkles. It is these dominant manifestations that help determine one's type.

The deformational-edematous type is characterized by a loss of clarity of the facial oval, a tendency to swelling and the formation of nasolabial folds and jowls. The fine-wrinkled type has thin and dry skin, many fine wrinkles, and such patients are prone to early aging. The muscular type is active facial expressions, dense skin and deep wrinkles due to muscle hypertonicity. The tired type is manifested by a decrease in skin tone and a look of constant fatigue

It's very simple, you need to find one dominant sign that you have and analyze what type it belongs to. If there is swelling or jowls are sagging, it is a deformational type. Many fine wrinkles - fine-wrinkled, active facial expressions and creases - muscular, and if you look tired even after sleep - it is a tired type
