U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking at the start of the new school year, accused the Joe Biden administration of promoting critical race theory and transgender issues in schools. Trump also stated that students' academic performance was low and promised to continue changes in education policy, UNN reports.

According to him, under the previous administration, "extremist ideologies," including critical race theory and transgender issues, were promoted in schools. Trump also claimed that children were allegedly being pushed toward transgender identity as early as ages 4–5.

The U.S. president also claimed that students were allegedly taught to view American heroes as villains, while the FBI persecuted parents who opposed the policies of school boards.
