Since the beginning of the year, customs officers of the State Customs Service have revealed 501 facts of illegal transportation of drugs across the border of Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
Details
It is noted that 374 cases were detected at importation into Ukraine, and 127 cases were detected at exportation.
The largest number of detentions was for the movement of goods by road - 273, by post - 212, and the rest - by other means. Based on these facts, the customs drew up 194 reports on violation of customs rules
It is noted that the total number of detected drugs is several times higher than last year's figures.

Yes, this year customs has detected:
- narcotic drugs - 29.2 kg, including 28.5 kg of cannabis and other narcotic drugs: 17,663 tablets, 884 capsules, 170 ampoules, 1.3 liters, 5 vials;
- psychotropic substances - 24.77 kg, 8,500 tablets, 1,260 capsules, 16 ampoules,
- 4.1 liters, 13 bottles, 41 e-cigarettes containing psychotropic substances;
- precursors - 1,258 kg, 356 liters, 12,470 tablets, 199 capsules.
Compared to the first half of last year:
- narcotic drugs were detected 3.5 times more (for the same period last year - 8.26 kg);
- psychotropic substances - 1.3 times more (in 2023 - 18.28 kg);
- precursors - 61.5 times more (last year's figure was 20.45 kg), in addition, 356 liters of mixtures and liquids containing precursors were found, last year no such facts were found
