The operation of territorial recruitment centers outside the country is unrealistic. He explained that after the new law on mobilization comes into force, men of military age in Ukraine and abroad will have the opportunity to update their military records within 60 days, including through an electronic cabinet.
He also assured that work is underway to ensure that the men can update their data without having to return to Ukraine.
It is not necessary to go to Ukraine, but if a person wants to defend the homeland, wants to join the Defense Forces, then, of course, it is worth coming to Ukraine... The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new applications for consular services from Ukrainian men aged 18-60 abroad, due to the new law on military service and mobilization, which will come into force on May 18, 2024.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Intelligence plans to summon representatives of the Foreign Ministry to explain the order to suspend consular services for Ukrainian men abroad.
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba commented on the suspension of consular services for men abroad, calling it unacceptable that they "sit in restaurants" while "the guys in the trenches are very tired.
