Vasyl worked for 10 years at authorized service stations in Ternopil. But then he decided to open his own car repair shop. Two years ago, he built a building near his home from scratch. After the outbreak of a large-scale war, he put the preparatory work on hold, but resumed it this year. Because he has a goal, a plan to achieve it, and helpers like MHP and its strategic partner, the MHP-Hromada charity foundation.

This year, Vasyl Tsvyakh won UAH 100 thousand in the Foundation's Do Your Own business idea competition, with which he bought a hydraulic stand, a welding machine, and various small but essential tools for quality work. He also bought a pneumatic compressor and a hydraulic press at his own expense. And now the service station has been operating for four months. Vasyl specializes in chassis repairs, engine maintenance, and replacing technical fluids and consumables. Customers come from all over the community, and there is an appointment for repairs at least two days in advance. "We are always happy to support people who start their own businesses. Especially when they are really useful businesses for the community, like this service station.

There are no car repair shops within a 20-kilometer radius, so now people will be able to quickly get high-quality and inexpensive car maintenance services," comments Yuriy Fedorchak, director of the Ridnyi Krai branch of the MHP Western Hub. Tsvyakh and his wife have plans to further develop their business, including creating new jobs.
