White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt stated there has been progress from the Iranian side. Trump sent Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan for negotiations.

White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt stated that the White House "has seen some progress" from the Iranians, as evidenced by the trip of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan for negotiations, reports UNN citing CNN.

We have certainly seen some progress from the Iranian side over the last few days. Again, the president decided to send Steve and Jared to hear from the Iranians, so we'll see what they say

– she told journalists at the White House on Friday.

In response to a CNN question about whether this means the US has received the "single proposal" that President Donald Trump expects from Iran, Leavitt did not answer.

"We hope that progress will be made, and we hope that this meeting will bring positive developments, and then we'll see," – she said.
