The Russian Federation is spreading a fake report in the name of HRW about the execution of families on the Tysa River. The CPD has debunked the lie regarding the deaths of 76 families while crossing the border.

The enemy is circulating a fake video, allegedly created on behalf of the human rights organization Human Rights Watch, which groundlessly accuses Ukrainian border guards of killing civilians during attempts to illegally cross the border via the Tysa River. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defense Council, according to UNN.

Russian propaganda is spreading a fake video in the name of the human rights organization Human Rights Watch. It claims that Ukrainian men are allegedly using women and children as "human shields" while attempting to cross the border via the Tysa River, counting on the border guards not to fire at families,

- the report states.

The authors of the disinformation then claim that Ukrainian border guards allegedly shoot entire families anyway, and that "76 families" have died in this manner since the beginning of the year.

The CCD notes that, in reality, Human Rights Watch has not published any such statements or reports. Propagandists traditionally mimic the style of reputable international organizations to give their disinformation an appearance of credibility. No real sources exist to confirm the provided statistics.
