Ukraine's power grid is operating without scheduled outages, despite a massive enemy drone attack and heavy snowfall, thanks to an 8-month repair campaign, Shmyhal points out.

After the latest massive drone attack by Russian troops and during intense snowfalls, there are no scheduled power outages in Ukraine - the repair campaign is showing results, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

These days, the Ukrainian power system is undergoing another test of strength. 8 months of an active repair campaign have yielded results - after the last massive drone attack and during a natural disaster, there have been no scheduled outages,

said Shmyhal in Telegram.

The Prime Minister noted that, according to the Ministry of Energy, generation covers the needs. Ukraine can attract assistance from the EU, the situation remains under control, he said.

To recap,

Intense snowstorms have led to power outages in 572 settlements in 12 regions of Ukraine, with traffic on 8 highways still blocked.
