The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a statement regarding the events related to individual soldiers of the 155th Mechanized Brigade, stating cooperation with the investigation, noting that part of the information is not disclosed to avoid harming the investigation, and emphasizing that "this is not an attempt to conceal facts or evade responsibility," reports UNN.

"Openness in difficult situations is part of command responsibility. That is why we consider it necessary to provide clarification regarding the information related to individual servicemen of military unit A5001," the statement reads.
As stated, "currently, law enforcement agencies are establishing all the circumstances. The Ground Forces are cooperating with the investigation, providing necessary materials, and facilitating procedural actions within their authority," the Ground Forces said.
"Part of the information cannot be disclosed at this stage, as its disclosure could harm the investigation. This is not an attempt to conceal facts or evade responsibility," the Ground Forces noted.
"All information that could be disclosed without harming the investigation has already been published. Further comments on the course of the investigation fall within the competence of law enforcement agencies. The Ground Forces are interested in a full, objective, and impartial establishment of all circumstances. If there are legal grounds, those involved must be held accountable in accordance with the procedure established by law," the statement said.

Earlier, the Northern Operational Command reported on the investigation of events involving soldiers of the 155th Mechanized Brigade, stating that the commander had left service without authorization and is being sought.
This statement appeared after information emerged in the media that law enforcement officers had detained several soldiers of the brigade.
According to data on the brigade's website, since February 2026, the commander of the 155th Mechanized Brigade (military unit A5001) named after Anna of Kyiv has been Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Luchanov. Until 2026, he held the position of chief of staff in the 425th Separate Assault Regiment "Skala."
