The Embassy of Lithuania in Kyiv was damaged as a result of a Russian attack, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported on Saturday, writes UNN.
As a result of a massive Russian attack on Kyiv, the building of the Embassy of Lithuania sustained minor damage. Fortunately, none of the staff were injured. Russian terror spares no one and respects no international norms, including the provisions of the Vienna Convention. It can only be stopped by force and sufficient air defense capabilities
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed solidarity with Lithuania, colleague Kęstutis Budrys, Ambassador Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė, and all our friends at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
"We are ready to provide all necessary assistance," he stated.
And thanked "our Lithuanian allies for their courage and for staying by our side in the most difficult times."
