The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has seized the property of the attraction, where a 20-year-old man died after falling into the Dnipro River due to a broken cable on the cable car. UNN reports this with reference to the court's ruling.
The court ruled to seize the attraction, which consists of temporary structures, a launch pad and a finish pad, in criminal proceedings.
The ownership of these facilities belongs to Active Country LLC, but they were used by another company under a lease agreement.
Seizure means prohibiting any person from alienating the property in any way, as well as from using and disposing of it, in order to preserve material evidence.
The prosecutor noted that at present there is a need to seize the above property in order to preserve material evidence, as it meets the criteria set out in Art. 98 of the CPC of Ukraine, is important for further pre-trial investigation, can be used as evidence of facts or circumstances established in criminal proceedings, and the decision of the senior investigator in criminal proceedings of 22.07.2024 appointed the examination of the causes and consequences of violations of life safety and labor protection requirements as the subject of the stud
