Tetyana Dombrovska, a member of Mykolaiv City Council and founder of the NGO "The Future of Mykolaiv," opened a thematic photo exhibition "War Has a Woman's Name" dedicated to women defenders. She wrote about this on her Facebook, UNN reports.
"Each photo is a whole story... The photos show beautiful women in military uniforms. Happy family photos. Mothers going to war in the arms of their children. The moments of meeting with relatives and difficult moments of farewell. Ukrainian women are real heroines," says Tetiana Dombrovska.
In addition to the military, the exhibition was also visited by women MPs, volunteers, civil servants, public and cultural figures.
"More than 62 thousand women serve and work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including more than 45 thousand servicewomen. But first and foremost, they are Ukrainian women, loving mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, who, along with men, create history and fight for our victory!" summarized Tetiana Dombrovska.
The exhibition will run for a month at the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theater at 25 Admiralska Street.
