Sweden will change its migration legislation to stop the deportation of teenagers whose parents are allowed to remain in the country. This was reported by Euronews, according to UNN.

The government has decided to raise the age at which migrant children are considered adults for migration procedures from 18 to 21. Additionally, individuals who have received a deportation order will be able to re-apply for a residence permit.
Government maintains a hard line on migration
Migration Minister Johan Forssell stated that the changes will help young people who are already studying and working in Sweden to remain in the country.
At the same time, the authorities emphasized that despite the relaxation of certain rules, Sweden's overall migration policy will remain strict.
