The Defense Ministry's procurement agency has started supplying winter clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"Suppliers of the Defense Ministry's procurement agency, the State Logistics Operator, have started shipping winter supplies to military units of the Armed Forces. In particular, they are to deliver products totaling UAH 2.6 billion. They have already started delivering windproof pants and jackets, shirts, gloves, hiking socks, boots with high ankles, etc.", the Defense Ministry said.
The deadline for delivery is the end of 2024.
"Providing our military with quality winter clothing and footwear in advance is vital for their safety and effectiveness. We understand the importance of systematic planning, so the Defense Ministry's procurement agency DOT has already started supplying winter clothing," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
