Starting June 28, Ukrzaliznytsia is launching 12 new routes and extending services to the mountains. Ticket sales for the updated schedule start today.

Ukrzaliznytsia is adapting its schedule to meet seasonal passenger demand. The updated schedule takes effect on June 28, and ticket sales start today, UNN reports with reference to UZ.

What's new? In total, railway workers have added 12 new services, significantly accelerated 3 trains, extended 4 routes to the mountains, and converted 8 every-other-day trains into daily ones

— the company's statement reads.

Details

🧳 The flagship train No. 1/2 "Unity" has been extended to Rakhiv. Starting June 29, it will run on the Kharkiv-Rakhiv route (previously Kharkiv-Vorokhta). This is the longest route for a flagship train in Ukraine — 1,325 km. The train includes a women's carriage and a brand-new children's carriage.

🧳 Train No. 55/56 Kyiv-Rakhiv will run daily (instead of every other day). This will increase the number of seats on the most popular destination for family vacations from Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil to Ivano-Frankivsk, Yaremche, Tatariv, Vorokhta, Yasinia, Kvasy, and Rakhiv.

🧳 "Sakura" will travel faster from Kyiv to Uzhhorod and back. It will depart from Kyiv at 23:28 (instead of 17:41). The return flight will arrive in Kyiv at 06:09 (instead of 09:58), and in Khmelnytskyi — before midnight.

🧳 Train No. 113/114 Kharkiv-Uzhhorod will run every other day instead of "on specific dates" and will provide more convenient travel from Kharkiv and Poltava to Rivne, Lutsk, and cities in Zakarpattia. Meanwhile, another Kharkiv-Uzhhorod service — No. 45/46 — is changing its route via Podillia, so residents of Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil will be able to reach Zakarpattia at a convenient time.

🧳 Routes No. 137/138 Kyiv – Yasinia (instead of Kyiv – Ivano-Frankivsk) and No. 142/141 Chernihiv – Yasinia (instead of Chernihiv – Ivano-Frankivsk) have been extended to Yasinia station.

🧳 Among the new trains: night express No. 83/84 Dnipro – Mukachevo, daytime train No. 153/154 Dnipro – Odesa (on specific dates), No. 157/158 Kyiv – Ivano-Frankivsk, No. 210/209 Mykolaiv – Ivano-Frankivsk (every other day), No. 229/230 Kharkiv – Kremenchuk (from 29.06.2026).

Additional Information

As reported by UZ, the rest of the new features for the required routes can be seen in the app and on the Ukrzaliznytsia website, but services are going on sale gradually. Some trains will become available within a day or two.

Unfortunately, we don't have more carriages, but we have worked fruitfully for several months to 'spin' what we have as efficiently as possible — this is what made the new summer schedule possible

— UZ concluded.
