Ukrainian students may be allowed to travel to foreign universities for one semester to study. A mechanism is currently being developed to make this possible. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vynnytskyi said this during a national telethon, UNN reports . According to him, students are not subject to mobilization anyway
The fact that now, for example, the borders are closed for guys who are subject to mobilization programs, for one semester exchange opportunities between Western and Ukrainian universities is not really correct, because these students are not of mobilization age anyway. We are talking about a cohort of students between the ages of 18 and 22. These are the ones who will not be mobilized anyway. We are now working out certain mechanisms to make it possible
Vynnytskyi added that it would be important for students' worldview development to study at a European university during their undergraduate studies.
According to him, there are such opportunities, as many European universities are interested in having our students go to them for one semester.
