The city authorities are reportedly proposing that educational institutions hold the first semester from September 2 to December 21, 2024, and the second from January 13 to May 30, 2025.
The fall break will run from October 28 to November 2, 2024. Winter holidays are scheduled from December 23, 2024, to January 11, 2025. And the spring break will be held from March 24 to 29, 2025, KCSA reported.
In addition, as noted, first-graders will have an additional one-week vacation from February 17 to 22, 2025.
The deputy head of KCSA reminded that in order to overcome possible educational losses and gaps, the new school year involves not only conducting lessons but also organizing compensatory classes, individual and group consultations, study tours, project activities, etc.
"Taking into account the security situation in the capital and other factors that may affect the organization of the educational process, the structure of the 2024/2025 academic year may be adjusted," the KCSA said.
