On January 12, the Kyiv Court of Appeal will consider an appeal against the verdict against the Berkut officers in the case of the February 20, 2014, killings during Euromaidan. This was reported to UNN by Oleksiy Donskiy, head of the department of the Prosecutor General's Office for Maidan Affairs.
When asked whether the court had set a date for the appeal against the Berkut officers' sentence, Donskoi replied: "For January 12, 2024, at 10:00."

The Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv has announced the verdict in the case of the killings on February 20, 2014 during Euromaidan. Former Berkut officers Serhiy Zinchenko, Pavlo Abroskin and Oleh Yanishevsky were found guilty of murder. Serhiy Tamtura was acquitted by the court, while Oleksandr Marinchenko was released from prison.
In November, the prosecutor's office filed an appeal against the verdict against Berkut officers in the case of the February 20, 2014, killings during Euromaidan.
