Brovary Lyceum No. 3 inaugurated a new Safety Class, the sixth in the community. This is part of an all-Ukrainian project aimed at teaching students the rules of fire and mine safety, the basics of civil defense, proper care for life and health, and the development of first aid skills, UNN reports.
As reported in the official Telegram channel of the Brovary City Territorial Community, Class is equipped with modern technical means: an interactive whiteboard, a multimedia projector, a computer, and safety stands.
Thanks to the Red Cross Society, UAH 47,459 was spent to equip the premises, which was used to purchase play sets, educational materials and furniture. The rest of the costs - over UAH 139 thousand - were covered by the local budget.
The first lesson in the Safety Class was conducted by a representative of the Red Cross, who taught the children the basics of first aid. The students actively asked questions and participated in practical exercises.
In addition, during the opening, representatives of the State Emergency Service conducted fire safety classes and brought a real fire truck, which caused sincere delight among the students.
“Such events steadily form a culture of safety among young people and promote the dissemination of useful and necessary knowledge in our difficult times,” the statement said.
