In Chernihiv region, Russian troops shelled the border town of Semenivka today, damaging residential buildings, the regional police reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

This afternoon, Russians shelled a residential area in Semenivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi district. As a result of Russian strikes, windows were smashed in civilian homes, walls and roofs were damaged, and doors were punctured. Fortunately, no one was injured

- the police said.

A criminal investigation was opened into the Russian attack under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
