Overnight, Russian troops attacked border areas and settlements in Sumy region with mortars and a drone, targeting the Bilopilska and Esmanska communities, the Sumy RMA reported on Telegram on Wednesday, UNN reports.

According to the RMA, at night and in the morning, Russians fired twice at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. Four explosions were recorded. Bilopilska and Esmanska communities were shelled:
- Bilopilska community: the enemy fired from mortars (3 explosions).
- Esman community: an FPV drone attack (1 explosion).
