The Russian Federation attacked a gas production facility of Naftogaz in the Poltava region, its operation has been suspended, the Naftogaz Group reported on Saturday, writes UNN.
This morning, Russian drones struck one of the gas production assets of the Naftogaz Group in the Poltava region. A fire broke out at the facility after the attack. The enterprise's operations have been halted, and it is currently impossible to assess the extent of the damage
All employees, as stated, moved to shelters in time and were not injured.
Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Dyakivnych also noted that "this morning, an enemy UAV attacked one of the industrial enterprises in the Poltava district. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties."
It is reported that this facility has repeatedly been a target of Russian attacks. "The enemy systematically strikes gas production, trying to reduce Ukraine's own production and complicate preparations for the heating season," Naftogaz stated.
