Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have launched 62 attacks on the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces along the entire front line. The most intense fighting is ongoing in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

The greatest enemy activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction – 22 breakthrough attempts, part of which are ongoing. Intense combat operations also occurred in the Kostiantynivka direction, where Ukrainian troops repelled eight attacks.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces stopped 11 assaults, and in the Lyman direction – four. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times.
Other sections of the front
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two assaults, over 40 shellings, and five airstrikes were recorded. In the Southern Slobozhanskyi and adjacent directions, isolated combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy advance attempts.
Shelling of border areas
Russian troops continue to shell border districts of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts, and also conduct airstrikes on settlements in the Sumy region.
The General Staff states that Ukrainian forces continue to hold back the enemy and inflict losses on it.
