"Russian tricolors, which enemy saboteurs installed near the border in Chernihiv region on a destroyed bridge over the Sudost river, did not last long. After detecting the Russian symbols, border guards promptly used drones, which destroyed the occupiers' "rags" with precise strikes," the State Border Guard Service said.
It is stated that the operation to dispose of them was carried out quickly and safely for the Ukrainian military.
"At the same time, the intelligence indicated that the Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group left the area before the flags were removed, not daring to take further action," the SBGSU said.
"This is another unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to impose its "victories" and is nothing more than a psychological trick that has no military meaning. We urge you not to succumb to the enemy's information and psychological influence. Ukrainian defenders have destroyed and will continue to destroy the enemy and its saboteurs. Glory to Ukraine!" - the statement reads.
