The Romanian Parliament has supported a vote of no confidence in the government of Ilie Bolojan, which was previously abandoned by seven members of the Social Democratic Party. This was reported by Digi24, according to UNN.

The joint plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, where the motion of no confidence initiated by the Social Democrats and the far-right was discussed and put to a vote, began at 11:00.
The voting concluded at 14:00, and after some time, parliamentarians returned to the hall to hear the results. The vote of no confidence was supported by 281 deputies, 4 were against, and 3 ballots were annulled.
A total of 233 votes were required for the motion of no confidence. It is noted that the constitutional requirement for a majority vote to pass the decision was met, making this the vote of no confidence passed with the highest number of votes in the history of the parliament.
