The German arms concern Rheinmetall is already producing artillery shells for Ukraine and is receiving new orders for them. In the near future, it is planned to launch the production of armored vehicles on Ukrainian territory. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, UNN reports.

"In October, during a visit to Berlin together with the German Chancellor, we launched cooperation between the Ukrainian defense industry and the German arms concern Rheinmetall. The company already produces artillery shells for Ukraine and receives new orders for them. In the near future, we plan to launch the production of armored vehicles on Ukrainian territory," Shmyhal said.

According to him, this is a "flagship project  of unity" of the Ukrainian forces  and European armorers to achieve a just peace.

"In the future, we will also rely on technology transfer, investments in design development, new production facilities and Military Tech.
