The Cabinet of Ministers has restored the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, which was headed by Taras Vysotskyi, and also formed the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, which was headed by Vitaliy Bezgin. This is reported by UNN with reference to government resolution No. 963.
Details
According to the resolution, the government renamed:
- The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine to the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine;
- The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine to the Ministry of Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine.
The government also formed the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers canceled the resolution on the liquidation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
"It is established that the support of the activities of the Ministry of Economy and Environment, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, and the Ministry of Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport in 2026 is carried out within the expenditures provided for the support of the activities of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture and the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories," the resolution states.
The specified ministries have been instructed to ensure, within two weeks, the preparation and submission, in accordance with the established procedure, to the Cabinet of Ministers for consideration of draft regulations on the respective ministries; proposals for amendments to legislative acts arising from this resolution.

The Verkhovna Rada appointed Serhiy Koretskyi as the new Prime Minister of Ukraine, replacing Yulia Svyrydenko, who was dismissed from this position.

The Ministry of Economy and Environment was headed by Oleksandr Kravchenko. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food was headed by Taras Vysotskyi.
The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons was headed by Vitaliy Bezgin.
In July last year, the Cabinet of Ministers liquidated the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. The functions of the liquidated ministries were performed by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Today, Koretskyi stated that the reorganization of the structure of ministries has begun in accordance with the decisions of parliament.
"We are restoring the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, creating a separate Ministry of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons. We have delineated the areas of economy and environment, as well as restoration, infrastructure and transport," noted Koretskyi.
