Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the spring conscription campaign. For compulsory military service from April 1 to July 15 will call up 150 thousand people. This is evidenced by a document posted on the website of the Kremlin on Sunday, writes UNN.
To carry out from April 1 to July 15, 2024 conscription for military service of citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 to 30 years who are not in the reserve and are subject to conscription in accordance with the Federal Law of March 28, 1998 № 53-FZ "On Military Duty and Military Service", in the amount of 150 thousand people.

According to the published decree, spring conscription in russia is announced from April 1 to July 15. It is noted that for the first time it will be held with an increased age limit - up to 30 years old.
The government, regional authorities and conscription commissions have been instructed to ensure appropriate arrangements.
It is noted that soldiers, sailors, sergeants and petty officers, whose term of conscription has expired, will be dismissed from service.
